Musician, poet, memoirist, etc. etc., Patti Smith will appear live in conversation with The New Yorker’s poetry editor Paul Muldoon as part of the magazine’s annual festival on Saturday, October 6. Best known as part of New York City’s punk scene from the mid-seventies on, Smith has also been publishing her lyrics, poetry, and most recently won National Book Award for Nonfiction for her memoir Just Kids.
According to heading of the event, Smith and Muldoon will be discussing the lyrical and poetic aspects of her work.
